OpShop.Kiwi Limited is New Zealand's dedicated online marketplace for verified second-hand sellers. Founded and operated by me, AJ Morris, OpShop.Kiwi was created to give op shops, charities, vintage dealers, antique sellers, and independent second-hand businesses a platform built specifically for the unique world of pre-loved goods.

Incorporated as a New Zealand Limited Company on 23 February 2026, OpShop.Kiwi is built on a simple belief: buying and selling second-hand online should be easier, safer, and better for everyone involved.

Why I Created OpShop.Kiwi

After nearly 30 years working across retail, charity shops, administration, and customer service, I saw the same challenge over and over again. Incredible second-hand stores were full of amazing items, but many lacked the time, resources, or technical knowledge needed to build a successful online presence.

What started as an idea to support my own second-hand business quickly became something much bigger. Instead of creating another online store, I began building a marketplace where multiple verified sellers could reach customers throughout New Zealand from one dedicated platform.

I built OpShop.Kiwi independently from the ground up. Every category, process, policy, and feature has been developed with the realities of second-hand retail in mind. It remains a founder-led business driven by practical experience, community values, and a passion for keeping quality items in circulation.

OpShop.Kiwi is currently in an active growth phase. I continue to onboard new vendors, improve platform features, refine systems, and build awareness across New Zealand's second-hand community.
