This cap originates from the earlier years of The First Tee New Zealand charity tournament programme, prior to my time as National Programming Director. While I was not personally present for this signing, participation and attendance by Tim Wilkinson at these events has since been confirmed through PGA coaches associated with The First Tee NZ during that period.

The First Tee New Zealand programme helped connect young players with professional golfers and sporting personalities through charity events and youth development initiatives focused on confidence, discipline, and life skills through golf.
