A genuine signed “The First Tee New Zealand” golf cap featuring the signature of New Zealand golfer Steven Scarhill.

Scarhill was associated with New Zealand amateur representative golf, including involvement with teams connected to the Eisenhower Trophy — the World Amateur Team Championship — one of the sport’s most recognised international amateur events.

This cap originates from the earlier years of The First Tee New Zealand charity tournament programme, prior to my time as National Programming Director. While I was not personally present for this signing, participation and attendance connected to these events has since been confirmed through PGA coaches associated with The First Tee NZ during that period.

The First Tee New Zealand programme brought together young golfers, professional players, sporting personalities, and supporters of the game through charity events and youth development initiatives designed to grow participation in golf throughout New Zealand.

The cap features the embroidered The First Tee New Zealand logo and presents in very good condition, with light handling associated with the original signing and long-term storage. A unique piece connected to the early years of The First Tee NZ and New Zealand amateur golf history.
