Vendor Fees and Service Schedule

OpShop.Kiwi keeps marketplace fees simple, transparent, and tied to real sales — with optional support available for Vendors who want help setting up, listing stock, or growing their online store.

This page explains the standard marketplace commission and optional vendor services available through OpShop.Kiwi. It is designed for op shops, charity stores, vintage sellers, antique dealers, and professional second-hand retailers who want a clearer way to sell quality pre-loved goods online.

The simple version: There are no standard listing fees. Commission is charged when an item sells, and optional services are available only when a Vendor wants extra help.
Pricing note: All fees are in New Zealand dollars and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Service availability may depend on location, capacity, stock type, and the level of support required.

Marketplace commission

OpShop.Kiwi uses a standard commission structure based on monthly sales volume. Commission applies to the item price only and does not apply to the shipping fee charged to the customer.

Monthly Sales Volume Standard Commission What this means
$0.00 – $1,000.00 13% Default rate for new and lower-volume stores.
$1,000.01 – $5,000.00 10% Reduced commission once monthly sales grow.
$5,000.01 and above 7% Lowest standard commission for higher-volume Vendors.

Commission is reviewed by monthly sales volume. Any refunds, adjustments, special arrangements, or agreed service fees may affect the final payout calculation.
