Details: A set of several (typically 5) painted plastic figures representing Navy Personnel (sailors/officers) for use on a model railway or diorama layout. Merit was a popular British brand for model railway accessories in the mid-20th century, before the range was taken over by Modelscene/Peco. This original "Merit" branded packaging dates the item to the 1960s/1970s. A highly collectible piece of vintage British model railroading history.
